Smiles Compliments of my Neighbors

I am grateful for life.

When I slow down, I observe the richness of life.

May I introduce you to some of my neighbors and beautiful moments?

These things spread a smile across my face…

A neon pink and brilliant purple sunset

The older gentleman walking his bulldog, he waves…
they look exactly alike

The elderly lady in an over-sized olive drab sweatshirt and gray baggy pants…
with hot pink crocs on her feet

The lady who walks her dog…
actually she walks and he observes the walk from the crook of her arm

The church van and trailer hitched together…
ready to go out and serve!

High school student kneeling to talk eye-to-eye with a first grader in the church lobby

A child giggling

The aroma of the crockpot meal late in the afternoon

A text message from my college son or high school daughter

My Bible on a quiet Saturday morning with hot tea and a bagel

The little girl pausing from her scooter ride to pick up a bug…
while her little shitzu pogos on the leash

Playing with a litter of four-week old puppies

It’s JOY on the outside!

What makes you smile?
